Lars was supposed to be on his way to a promising job in Tokyo, but instead he throws his phone into the aquarium of a retirement home and requests to move in. Lars quits. In his new home, he meets the strange director Ingo and the elderly residents of the house. Especially the physically limited but sharp-witted Freya seeks confrontation with him. His worrying parents' visit cannot change his mind either. But even though Lars wants to avoid all responsibility, he cannot hide from his life forever.
