In the documentary short film "Kinder des Kosmos (Children of the Cosmos)“ we look over the shoulder of the astronomer Arno Riffeser who explores space from an observatory, far away from civilization and 1800 meters above sea level. The film abstractly addresses the synergy "human - universe". Arno Riffeser's statements stand in place for the reflection about the mystery of our existence in this eternal cosmos in which we find ourselves — with our small brains that nevertheless ask the big questions.
