Five headed Munich family seeks for new home in China: Due to a transfer abroad a family with three small children leaves their German homeland and dares a fresh start in unknown China. For six months, the filmmaker has accompanied herself and her family with the camera and documented the different ways of life. Despite careful planning, she has to face everyday challenges and sometimes even gets to the breaking point. MAMA hen MANG (Chinese for "Mom is busy") is a film about home, longing and keeping the family together as a matter of course.
